Donate to the Cause Of Conservation

The activities of Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) are primarily in the form of budgeted plan funds under various Government heads. Valmiki Tiger Conservation Foundation (VTCF) is a Government-owned trust that acts as institutional support to facilitate and strengthen VTR Management. Community-Based Ecotourism programs (CBET) by involving Eco-Development Committees are the main source of income for the functioning of VTCF. The revenue generated through CBET activities is plowed back to VTCF for the welfare of forest-dependent communities (EDCs) and other stakeholders. Covid -19 hit badly the ecotourism programs of Valmiki and presently tourism is stopped in the Tiger Reserve. The long-term planned welfare activities and the conservation efforts of VTR are disrupted to a great extent due to the present financial constraints. But still, we are contributing and doing our best for managing the pristine natural forest ecosystems and livelihood of the people.

Donate and promote our conservation efforts and initiatives

  • To restore and save the habitat and Ecosystem and thereby protect the endangered wildlife
  • To strengthen and disseminate conservation education awareness to a broader community
  • To promote wildlife conservation-oriented research projects and to strengthen facilities for protection
  • To support the livelihood of Forest Dependent Communities
  • All donations will be audited and accounted as part of our annual budgeting and will be put through in our annual reports and hence foolproof transparency shall be kept.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

At Valmiki Tiger Reserve, we are on a mission to preserve the highly sensitive and fast endangering species of flora and fauna across the PA. This is a task that requires substantial time, effort and funding. As a socially and ecologically responsible organization, we offer you the right opportunity to support our causes. We offer a wide variety of options for organizations to partner with us as part of their CSR activities. This includes funding conservation activities, sponsoring researchers, contributing equipment and vehicles, helping improve livelihood, healthcare and education of local community, promoting Valmiki Tiger Reserve’s activities with a wider audience, technology investments etc. Alternatively, if you have a project plan you would like to present us, we will be happy to discuss on it.

Volunteering

Valmiki Tiger Reserve as part of strengthening the protected area management, does numerous types of activities with the help of a team of professionals employed by VTCF. In order to elaborate and spread our field of research oriented activities, VTR is always on the lookout for talented individuals/groups.

Your talent could help us in many ways that could spark an idea which can be elaborated on a broader spectrum. The skills you have may vary from designing a poster on conservation to doing a very high profile state of the art modern technique.
